Abstract: Literature focuses the attention of society on the protection of the environment,
delving deeply into the relationship of man with nature and environmental problems. Ecological
literature conveys strong emotional messages to readers about the value of nature and the effects of
its destruction. Historically, in the era of romanticism, writers depicted nature as an integral part of
human life, but in modern times, the environmental crisis has become more focused. Environmental
problems, especially issues such as climate change, pollution and the destruction of nature, are
widely covered by writers in modern literature. Genres such as ecofantastics, post-apocalyptic
literature and ecocritics serve to discuss these issues. With these works, writers call people on the
importance of protecting nature and create awareness about the environmental crisis. The mission
of writers is not only to tell stories, but also to be the voice of nature. They show readers the depth
of the ecological crisis, prompting them to think about how they can protect nature in the future.
Literature in this sense is an important tool in the ecological struggle.
